Divided in Death

Reva Ewing was a former member of the Secret Service and a security specialist for Roarke Enterprises—until she was found standing over the dead bodies of her husband, renowned artist Blair Bissel, and her best friend. While the crime scene initially suggests a double homicide fueled by jealous rage, Lieutenant Eve Dallas suspects a deeper conspiracy when she discovers all of Bissel's computer files were deliberately corrupted at the time of the murders. To Roarke, the computer attack represents a catastrophic threat. He and Reva had been working under a code-red government contract to develop a shield against a new breed of techno-terrorists known as the Doomsday Group. These hackers are willing to kill to protect their secrets, and it is up to Eve Dallas to expose the corruption within a secretive government agency before a deadly computer virus spreads to the entire country.
