Room on the Broom
This delightful tale follows a kind witch on her aerial adventures with her feline companion. As they fly, a strong wind blows away her hat, then her bow, and finally her wand. Each lost item is found by a different helpful creature – a dog, a bird, and a frog – who return them to the witch. Grateful for their assistance, the witch invites each animal to share her broomstick, making for increasingly crowded and amusing journeys as more friends join their aerial ride. Eventually, the overloaded broom can no longer withstand the weight and snaps apart. Just as the witch and her growing band of animal friends find themselves in a bit of a pickle, they are faced with a new, larger problem: a hungry dragon! The story culminates with the witch and her animal companions combining their unique strengths and working together to cleverly outsmart the fearsome beast. It's a heartwarming celebration of friendship, sharing, and the power of teamwork, made all the more engaging by its rhythmic, rhyming text and the wonderfully visual concept of a very packed broomstick.
