Maggie de Vries (born 1961) is a Canadian author of books for children, teens and adults. She is best known for the memoir Missing Sarah about her missing adopted sister, and for a number of award-winning children’s and young adult books including Rabbit Ears and Hunger Journeys. She has worked as a children’s book editor, taught children’s literature and creative writing at several universities, and speaks and writes about sex-workers' rights and social justice issues.
