Rolf Ludvigsen

Rolf Ludvigsen (d. 2016) was a Canadian paleontologist and author/editor known for his work on trilobites and the fossil record of British Columbia. He served as a geology professor (including at the University of Toronto), was an adjunct professor in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, a consulting paleontologist, and a founding chair of the British Columbia Paleontological Alliance. He edited Life in Stone: A Natural History of British Columbia's Fossils (UBC Press, 1996) and co-authored West Coast Fossils: A Guide to the Ancient Life of Vancouver Island (1997).
