Robert Kolker

Robert Kolker is an American journalist and bestselling author known for long-form narrative nonfiction. His books include Lost Girls (2013), a New York Times bestseller and Publishers Weekly Top Ten Book, and Hidden Valley Road (2020), an account of the Galvin family and schizophrenia that was a #1 New York Times bestseller and an Oprah's Book Club selection. Kolker's journalism has appeared in New York Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Wired, The Atlantic, Bloomberg Businessweek, GQ, and others.
