Meg Gardiner is an American bestselling author of crime and thriller novels, known for the Evan Delaney and Jo Beckett series and the UNSUB novels featuring FBI profiler Caitlin Hendrix. Her debut novel China Lake won the Edgar Award for Best Paperback Original; she has also received a Barry Award and an Audie Award. A former attorney and writing teacher, Gardiner has lived in the United Kingdom and the United States and served as president of Mystery Writers of America.
