Janet Gurtler (also published as Janet MacLeod) is a Canadian author of young adult and middle-grade fiction. Her YA novels have been shortlisted for RITA awards and selected by the Junior Library Guild and the Canadian Children’s Book Centre. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, and has also edited and contributed to anthologies and written non-fiction for teens.
