Sanja Rescek
Sanja Rescek (also published as Sanja Rešček) is a Croatian illustrator living in Zagreb. She studied graphic design and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and has illustrated well over one hundred children’s picture books and numerous board books for international publishers (including Simon & Schuster, Random House, Scholastic and Macmillan). Her work has also appeared on greeting cards (including UNICEF cards) and licensed products; she has won several national illustrator awards in Croatia and been shortlisted for industry prizes such as the Henries.
