Mem Fox

Mem Fox is a distinguished Australian children's author, educator, and literacy advocate. Born in Melbourne and raised in Zimbabwe, she later studied drama in London before settling in Australia. She is best known for her iconic picture book 'Possum Magic' and her passionate advocacy for the importance of reading aloud to children. Fox is a retired Associate Professor of Literacy Studies from Flinders University.
