Emily Gravett
Emily Gravett is a British author and illustrator of children's picture books, born in 1972 in Brighton, England. After leaving school at 16, she spent eight years traveling the UK before enrolling in an illustration degree at Brighton University. Her debut book, 'Wolves' (2005), won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration and the Kate Greenaway Medal. She is known for her inventive, witty, and beautifully illustrated books, often mixing traditional drawing and watercolor with collage.
