Gill Lewis is a British author and former veterinary surgeon known for her acclaimed children's books, which frequently explore themes of wildlife, conservation, and the human-animal bond. Drawing on her experiences as a vet working in the UK and abroad, her stories often highlight environmental issues and the challenges faced by children. She holds a master's degree in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University and lives in Somerset.
