Nicola Davies
Nicola Davies (born 3 May 1958) is a British zoologist and award-winning writer of more than eighty books for children and young people, including picture books, non-fiction, poetry and novels. Trained in zoology, she worked for the BBC Natural History Unit and was one of the original presenters of The Really Wild Show. Her work focuses on the natural world and human relationships with it, and she has written about topics including animals, ecosystems, climate, refugees, grief and disability. She lives in Wales.
