Nick Arnold (born 4 August 1961 in Cambridge, England) is a British writer best known for the Horrible Science series of children’s science books, illustrated by Tony De Saulles. Arnold created the series to make science accessible and entertaining for young readers and has written numerous titles in the Horrible Science range as well as the Wild Lives series. He has toured schools, libraries and festivals with his one-man Horrible Science show and has been involved in promoting science literacy for children.
