Enid Mary Blyton (11 August 1897 – 28 November 1968) was an English children's author, best known for series such as Noddy, The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Malory Towers. She was an extremely prolific and commercially successful writer of children's fiction throughout the mid-20th century, with her books translated into many languages and selling hundreds of millions of copies worldwide.
