Debi Gliori
Debi Gliori (born 1959) is a Scottish writer and illustrator of more than eighty children's books, best known for picture books such as No Matter What and the Mr Bear series, and for children's novels including Pure Dead Magic. She trained at Edinburgh College of Art, has served as writer-in-residence in the Shetland Isles, and has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and won the Red House Children's Book Award. In 2018 she was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Letters by the University of Strathclyde.
