Mairi Hedderwick

Mairi Hedderwick is a Scottish author and illustrator, best known for her beloved Katie Morag series of children's picture books, which are set on the fictional Isle of Struay, inspired by her experiences living on the Isle of Coll in the Hebrides. A graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, she has also produced travel writing and illustrated works for other authors.
