Liz Kessler
Liz Kessler is an English author best known for her popular children's book series, Emily Windsnap, which features a half-mermaid protagonist. She has written over twenty books for children and young adults, including the Philippa Fisher series, various middle-grade stand-alone novels, and early reader series like Poppy the Pirate Dog. Her work often explores themes of friendship, identity, and social justice, and she has also written young adult novels addressing complex topics. Kessler grew up in Southport, England, and currently lives in St Ives, Cornwall.
