Sara Blædel (born 6 August 1964) is a Danish crime-fiction author, best known for the international bestselling series featuring Detective Louise Rick and the Family Secrets trilogy. She founded the crime imprint Sara B in 1993, previously worked as a journalist and TV editor, and her novels have been published in numerous countries and translated into many languages. She has been repeatedly voted one of Denmark's most popular authors and has received awards including the Danish Crime Academy Debutant Award and the Golden Laurel.
