Mark Billingham
Mark Billingham is a British novelist, actor, comedian, and television screenwriter, best known for his bestselling crime novel series featuring Detective Inspector Tom Thorne. Born in Solihull and raised in Birmingham, he began his career as an actor and stand-up comedian before achieving widespread acclaim as an author. His work has been translated into numerous languages and adapted for television. He is a recipient of the Crime Writers' Association Diamond Dagger for his outstanding lifetime contribution to the crime fiction genre.
