Mari Hannah is a multi-award-winning, bestselling British crime writer and screenwriter, creator of the DCI Kate Daniels series and the Stone & Oliver and Ryan & O'Neil series. A former probation officer, she turned to fiction after an on-duty assault ended that career. She lives in a small Northumberland village and has been involved in festival programming and TV development of her work.
