Lee Child (pen name of Jim Grant)

Lee Child is the pen name of British author Jim Grant, best known as the creator of the Jack Reacher series of thrillers. Born and raised in Coventry, England, he worked in television before publishing his first Jack Reacher novel in 1997. Child's Reacher novels have become international bestsellers and have been adapted for screen; in recent years he has collaborated with his younger brother Andrew Child (also a novelist) on entries in the series.
