James Follett

James Follett (27 July 1939 – 10 January 2021) was an English author and screenwriter best known for science fiction and techno-thriller novels and for radio and television dramas. He became a full-time fiction writer in 1976 after work as a technical writer for the UK Ministry of Defence, and published more than 20 novels between the 1970s and 2000s; his work includes novelizations of his radio dramas (notably Earthsearch) and adaptations for screen and radio.
