Michael Crichton (writing as John Lange)

John Michael Crichton (October 23, 1942 – November 4, 2008) was an American author, screenwriter, and filmmaker best known for fast-paced, science- and technology-driven thrillers. He published early paperback thrillers under the pseudonym John Lange and later gained international fame with novels such as The Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park, Congo, and Sphere. Many of his works were adapted for film and television.
