Jennifer Marshall Bleakley is the author of Joey: How a Blind Rescue Horse Helped Others Learn to See. A neighbor of the Hope Reins ranch who followed Joey's story firsthand, she draws on her experience as a mother and as a grief counselor for children and families to write stories of hope. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she leads a Bible study group.
