Martha Hall Kelly

Martha Hall Kelly is a New York Times bestselling American author best known for her historical novels including Lilac Girls, Lost Roses, Sunflower Sisters, The Golden Doves, and The Martha's Vineyard Beach and Book Club. She began her career in advertising copywriting before publishing her debut novel Lilac Girls in 2016; her books have sold millions of copies and been translated into multiple languages. She divides her time between Litchfield, Connecticut and Hobe Sound, Florida, and often draws on family history and 20th-century events for her fiction.
