John Hart
John Hart (born 1965) is an American novelist best known for literary thrillers set in North Carolina. A former defense attorney and stockbroker, Hart is the only author to win the Edgar Award for Best Novel in consecutive years (2008 for Down River and 2010 for The Last Child). His books (The King of Lies; Down River; The Last Child; Iron House; Redemption Road; The Hush; The Unwilling) have been New York Times bestsellers and translated into multiple languages. He lives on a farm in Virginia and is a graduate of Davidson College.
