Scott Carson is the pen name used by Michael Koryta, a New York Times bestselling American novelist known for crime and supernatural fiction. Writing as Scott Carson, Koryta has published atmospheric, coming-of-age horror novels such as Lost Man's Lane and The Chill. Koryta began his career as a private investigator and newspaper reporter; his work has been translated into more than twenty languages, adapted for film, and recognized with awards including the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
