Jay R. Bonansinga is an American novelist, screenwriter and director known for thrillers and horror fiction, including several New York Times bestselling tie-in novels set in The Walking Dead universe. He has written original fiction and nonfiction (notably The Sinking of the Eastland), and his work has been translated into multiple languages. He has also worked in film and teaches creative writing in the Chicago area.
