Ray Garton Jr.
Ray Garton Jr. (December 2, 1962 – April 21, 2024) was an American author best known for his work in horror fiction for adults and young adults. He published dozens of novels and short story collections (often writing YA under the pseudonym Joseph Locke), wrote several film novelizations, and was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Live Girls. In 2006 he received the World Horror Convention Grand Master Award. Garton grew up in Anderson, California, and his writing drew on influences such as Stephen King, H. P. Lovecraft, and classic horror cinema.
