Lizzy Barber

Lizzy Barber is a London-based author of psychological thrillers. She studied English at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and after early work in acting and film development spent many years working in restaurant branding and marketing with her brother Jamie Barber. Her debut novel (published in the UK as My Name Is Anna / A Girl Named Anna) won the Daily Mail/Random House First Novel Prize. Her novels include Out of Her Depth (2022), Nanny Wanted (2023) and Be Mine (2024/2025 publication in some territories). She has been a Richard & Judy Book Club pick and her work has been optioned for TV. She lives in London with her husband and children.
