Emily Fisk Giffin (born March 20, 1972) is an American novelist and former lawyer best known for contemporary, relationship-driven novels such as Something Borrowed, All We Ever Wanted, and The Lies That Bind. A Wake Forest University graduate who earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, she left legal practice to write full time and has published multiple New York Times bestsellers; her debut, Something Borrowed, was adapted as a feature film. She lives in Atlanta with her family.
