Jack Bodkin

Jack Bodkin (born 1947 in Brooklyn, New York) is a retired Certified Public Accountant and the author of Briarhill to Brooklyn, a historical novel grounded in his family's migration from County Galway to Brooklyn during the Irish Potato Famine. A retiree living in Wheeling, West Virginia, Bodkin researched his family history for years before turning it into his debut novel published in 2021. He has visited Ireland for genealogical research and self-published his book through John S. Bodkin, Jr.
