Amit Sood, M.D., M.Sc., is a physician, integrative medicine practitioner, researcher and author best known for his work on resilience, stress management, mindfulness and wellbeing. Formerly a professor of medicine and chair of the Mind-Body Medicine Initiative at Mayo Clinic, he founded the Global Center for Resiliency and Wellbeing and created evidence-based resilience programs (SMART/Resilient Option). He is the author of The Mayo Clinic Guide to Stress-Free Living and The Mayo Clinic Handbook for Happiness among other books.
