Nora Roberts (writes as J.D. Robb)

Nora Roberts (born Eleanor Marie Robertson) is an American novelist best known for her prolific output in romance and romantic suspense. Writing under her own name since 1981, she has published hundreds of novels and frequently appears on bestseller lists. She also writes the futuristic police-procedural In Death series under the pen name J.D. Robb.
