Uzma Jalaluddin
Uzma Jalaluddin is a Canadian novelist, playwright, teacher and columnist best known for contemporary romantic comedies that center South Asian and Muslim Canadian characters. Her debut novel Ayesha at Last (2019) received wide acclaim and was followed by Hana Khan Carries On (2021) and several subsequent works. She has written for the Toronto Star and The Atlantic and lives near Toronto with her family.
