Raised on Manhattan's Upper East Side, she studied classics and philosophy at St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She began writing romance novels at sixteen and has since transitioned to writing contemporary fiction featuring quirky, determined heroines. She divides her time between Manhattan and Santa Fe.
