Beverly Barton (born Beverly Marie Inman) was a prolific and award-winning American author known for her romantic suspense and contemporary romance novels. She wrote over 50 books, including the popular 'The Protectors' series. She began her writing career in her mid-thirties and became a New York Times bestselling author. She passed away in 2011.
