Martha Moody

Martha Moody is an American author and former physician. Born and raised in Ohio, she graduated from Oberlin College and earned her MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She practiced as an internist for 15 years before transitioning to a full-time writing career following the success of her debut novel, 'Best Friends' (2001). Her work often explores complex relationships and family dynamics. She has also been involved in philanthropic work, including a long-term project teaching English in Israel.
