Elizabeth Birkelund
Elizabeth Birkelund is an American author known for her novels set in Europe, including 'A Northern Light in Provence', 'The Runaway Wife', and 'The Dressmaker'. Before becoming a novelist, she worked in the editorial department at European Travel & Life magazine and was a freelance writer and personal finance columnist for Cosmopolitan magazine. She has served on the boards of the National Humanities Center and the Center for Fiction, and she resides in New York City.
