Anika Scott

Anika Scott is an American-born author who grew up outside Detroit, Michigan. She holds a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University. Before becoming a novelist, she worked as a staff writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Chicago Tribune. She moved to Germany in 2001, where she has worked as a freelance journalist and taught at the Technical University in Chemnitz. She currently lives in Essen, Germany, with her husband and two daughters.
