D.R. MacDonald

D.R. MacDonald is a Canadian-American writer known for his novels and short stories, which are primarily set on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, where he was born. He was raised in the United States and is a professor emeritus of creative writing at Stanford University. His work has been recognized with awards including two Pushcart Prizes and an O. Henry Award.
