Glen Huser
Glen Huser is a Canadian author, educator, and former teacher-librarian known for his award-winning books for young readers. Born in 1943 in Elk Point, Alberta, he spent much of his career in Edmonton before moving to Vancouver. He has received numerous accolades, including the Governor General's Literary Award for his novel 'Stitches' (2003) and the Robert Kroetsch City of Edmonton Book Prize for 'Burning the Night' (2022). Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in children's literature, editing the student magazine 'Magpie' and teaching creative writing at the university level.
