Ayad Akhtar
Ayad Akhtar is an American playwright, novelist, and screenwriter known for exploring themes of the American-Muslim experience, identity, religion, and economics. He won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play 'Disgraced'. Born in Staten Island and raised in Milwaukee, he is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia University's School of the Arts.
