Sarah Bird
Sarah Bird is an American novelist, screenwriter, and journalist born in 1949 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Raised in a military family, she traveled extensively during her childhood. She earned a BA from the University of New Mexico and an MA in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. Bird is known for her humorous and insightful novels, many of which are set in Texas, as well as her screenwriting work and contributions to national publications like Texas Monthly.
