Sandra Rodriguez Barron is an author born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She has lived in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, and Connecticut. She earned an undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University. Her debut novel, 'The Heiress of Water', won the International Latino Book Award for debut fiction.
