Jane Harris

Jane Harris is a British novelist and screenwriter born in 1961 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. She studied English Literature and Drama at the University of Glasgow and trained at the East 15 Acting School. After working in various jobs abroad, she began writing short stories and later earned an MA and PhD in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. She is known for her acclaimed novels, including 'The Observations', 'Gillespie and I', and 'Sugar Money', and has also written award-winning short film scripts.
