Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Toshikazu Kawaguchi is a Japanese author, screenwriter, and director born in Osaka, Japan, in 1971. He formerly produced, directed, and wrote for the theatrical group Sonic Snail. His debut novel, 'Before the Coffee Gets Cold', was adapted from his own award-winning play of the same name. He is best known for his internationally bestselling series centered on a time-traveling café in Tokyo, which explores themes of human connection, memory, and love.
