Colin Walsh

Colin Walsh is an Irish writer and editor from Galway who now lives in Belgium. He is the author of the debut novel "Kala," which was published in 2023 and has received critical acclaim, including being named a book of the year by NPR, The Guardian, and GQ Magazine. Walsh's short stories have won several awards, including the RTÉ Francis MacManus Short Story Prize and the Hennessy Literary Award, and he was named Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year in 2019. His work has been published in The Stinging Fly, The Irish Times, and broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4.
