Luanne Rice

Luanne Rice (born September 25, 1955) is an American novelist known for contemporary fiction that frequently explores family, love and the natural world, particularly the sea. She is the author of numerous novels that have been translated into multiple languages; several have been adapted for television. Rice divides her time between New York City, Old Lyme, Connecticut, and Southern California, and is an active environmentalist and advocate for families affected by domestic violence.
