Maeve Binchy
Maeve Binchy (1939–2012) was an Irish novelist, short-story writer and columnist known for warm, character-driven stories set in small-town Ireland. Her books—often exploring relationships, community and everyday life—became international bestsellers and were adapted for television and film. Before becoming a full-time novelist she worked as a teacher and a journalist.
